Our Candidate for Congress: Jack Martins

As you’ve no doubt heard, Steve Israel has announced that we will not seek re-election this year, meaning that our congressional seat is up for grabs. National pundits were quick to point out how competitive this election will be, and political forecasters have designated NY-03 a “Toss-Up” race.

Now is the time to unite as a Party to elect a principled leader to represent us in Washington, and I’m happy to announce that State Senator Jack Martins will run on the Republican & Conservative lines.

Jack Martins is serving his third term in the New York State Senate, representing the 7th District. A workaholic for the people of his district, Jack was instrumental in cutting middle class income tax rates to the lowest levels in 60 years, repealing the MTA payroll tax for small businesses and schools, delivering hundreds of millions of dollars for economic development on Long Island, and passing four fiscally responsible state budgets to close a $10 billion deficit.
