Momentum Builds for Jack Martins

The National Republican Congressional Committee is spending heavily in our local congressional race, booking $1.1 million in cable TV advertising on behalf of our GOP nominee, State Senator Jack Martins.

The race for the third congressional district, which includes parts of Queens and Nassau County, is among the most closely watched and likely to be hotly contested races this fall in New York, if not nationally.

Martins, a state senator elected in 2010, is facing Democratic former Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi.

The amount of money being invested this early by the NRCC in the swing district, while eyebrow raising, is a sign Republicans hope the district will be a competitive one for them this November. 

Earlier this month, Jack Martins was named one of the NRCC's first Young Guns of 2016, a further testament to his strong campaign. The Huntington Republican Committee is proud to support Senator Jack Martins for NY-03.
