Mike LiPetri For Congress 3rd Congressional District

Mike LiPetri is a former N.Y.S. Assemblyman and current Republican Nominee for Congress in NY-03. A proven vote-getter, at just 28 years old Mike knocked on over 20,000 doors to successfully defeat an Incumbent Democrat and win a seat in the NYS Assembly. In November, Mike will use that same work-ethic and authentic leadership to flip NY-03 back into Republican hands and deliver common sense solutions for the residents of Long Island!

While serving in the New York State Assembly, Mike was a champion of Law Enforcement, fiscal responsibility, and standing up for law-abiding business owners and taxpayers. 

During the height of the ‘Defund the Police’ movement, Mike was the only state legislator from Long Island to vote against ALL anti-police bills. For these efforts, he was recognized by the Suffolk County PBA for his staunch advocacy and support of public safety. When Police Officers were attached with buckets of water and other dangerous substances, Mike introduced legislation to make such actions a Felony, and he was one of the first opponents to the disastrous “Bail Reform” laws that created a revolving door of justice and made a mockery of our justice system. 

During the pandemic, when small business owners were forced to close their doors while big box stores were allowed to remain open, Mike was the leading voice fighting to right this wrong. When children with disabilities were not getting the services they needed, Mike fought to get their programs restored. When they recklessly sent thousands of our most vulnerable senior citizens to die in nursing homes, Mike was the first to call for a federal investigation into these deadly actions. 

In Congress, Mike is committed to securing our border and implementing a merit-based legal immigration system, standing up for women’s rights, restoring common sense decision making, and fighting for the next generation of Long Islanders.
