Response to False Accusations Against Ed Smyth

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN OF HUNTINGTON REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN TOM MCNALLY

Response to False Accusations Against Ed Smyth

Dear Huntington Republicans,

Once again, Brooke Lupinacci and her allies are resorting to baseless attacks and outright lies to mislead voters. The latest smear mailer is nothing more than fearmongering without a shred of evidence to back it up.

Let’s set the record straight:

There is ZERO proof of any wrongdoing by Ed Smyth.

The claims made in this hit piece are politically motivated and false.

This is a desperate attempt to distract from their own backdoor political games.

The Real Story

Instead of running on real ideas, Brooke Lupinacci, Eugene Cook, and John Posillico have resorted to deceptive tactics to mislead Republican voters. They skipped the official Republican screening process and, instead, met with the local Democrat Party leadership to seek their support. They are now trying to force a primary through dishonest petition drives.

They are NOT the endorsed Republican and Conservative candidates.
The ONLY Republican and Conservative-endorsed candidates are:

Ed Smyth for Town Supervisor

Dr. Dave Bennardo & Greg Grizopoulos for Town Board

Andre Sorrentino for Highway Superintendent

If Brooke Lupinacci truly cared about Republican values, she would have gone through the proper screening process and certainly would not have had a secret meeting with the Democrats for their support. Instead, she and her team are trying to sneak onto the ballot while launching baseless attacks against Ed Smyth.

Time to Put Up or Shut Up

Voters are tired of dirty politics. If Brooke Lupinacci has actual proof to support her accusations, she should present it. Otherwise, she should stop lying to voters.

This election is about who will fight for taxpayers, keep Huntington safe, and continue delivering real improvements—not about smear campaigns and backroom deals.

Vote for the ONLY real Republican & Conservative team:

Ed Smyth for Town Supervisor

Dr. Dave Bennardo & Greg Grizopoulos for Town Board

Andre Sorrentino for Highway Superintendent

Don’t be fooled by deceptive tactics. Don’t sign their petitions. Don’t support their political games.

Let’s keep Huntington moving forward with strong, honest leadership.
