Dear fellow Huntington Republicans,

We have a tremendous slate of candidates we have running for Town and County office this year and report that we filed more than 1,000 petition signatures qualifying them to be on the ballot.

This would have never been possible without the hard work of the Huntington Republican Committee and your support.

Our victory in 2017 brought a new Republican majority to Town Hall, ending a quarter century of Democrat mismanagement of our Town. For too long, Democrats raised taxes on Huntington families, jeopardized our suburban quality of life by encouraging overdevelopment, neglected our roads, waterfront, and sewer infrastructure, and allowed our environmental treasures to deteriorate.

Four years ago, we brought our message of protecting taxpayers and smart planning to the voters--and we won! Now, we have a great record and tremendous candidates.

This year, we’re poised to elect Ed Smyth as our next Town Supervisor, grow our majority on the Town Board and ensure Huntington has strong Republican representation in the Suffolk County Legislature.

Liberal Democrats may control Albany and Washington, D.C., but we can make sure that Huntington continues to be guided by conservative Republican leadership.

We can’t do it without your help!

We’re building a great team and we need you to get involved.

Sign up to volunteer online, email [email protected] or call (631) 549-6800 today to join our grassroots door-to-door program, make volunteer telephone calls or receive a lawn sign. Every voter we talk to, letter we send or lawn sign we place gets us one step closer to victory in November.

Again, thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

Thomas McNally
Chairman, Huntington GOP
