Congratulations to Town Supervisor Ed Smyth - Grand Marshal of the 92nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Congratulations to Town Supervisor Ed Smyth - Grand Marshal of the 92nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

We wish to congratulate our Town Supervisor, Ed Smyth, on being named Grand Marshal of the 92nd Annual Huntington St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will take place on March 8, 2026.

Presented by the Huntington Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Huntington St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Long Island’s oldest and largest, with hundreds marching in the parade and thousands of spectators in attendance each year. It is also one of the most important cultural events in the town, as pipe bands, dancers, elected officials, and others march along the Route 110 corridor.

Ed is proud of his Irish heritage and his selection as Grand Marshal is a reflection on his dedication to public service as a Town Councilman and as Town Supervisor. As Supervisor, Ed has worked hard to hold the line on taxes, improve the quality of life, and preserve the environment. He has maintained a AAA bond rating since taking office, secured funding to build sewers, fix our roads, and create a walkable downtown.

Mark your calendars and come out for this special day.
